Anyone see the March 23 cancellation online form yet?

Just filled out the refund form for my 4/11 sailing on the Gem. Just like everyone else I did not receive a confirmation number or an email, simply a generic...

THANK YOU

Not very assuring, I want nothing to do with the FCC since my canceled cruise was a casino comp so the FCC even with the bonus and 20% discount wouldn't be enough to cover another cruise at regular price.

Looks like confirmation emails are indeed being sent out, I just got mine after filling out the form at 8am this morning.  So the system is just running slow.

Thank you!

So, do I fill out one form total or forms for each person? We have different last names, but are all on the same reservation number. I've received 4 separate emails for each communication. Would feel better if the form had where to put each passenger's name...

I filled out the form 1:30 pm today...waiting for a confirmation email.  You brought up a good question concerning how many forms to submit.  Only one credit card was used for my cruise payment & I received two separate email for each guest.  I will issue separate refund form for each person in the stateroom under my reservation number to try & ensure I get the full amount of  my refund.

Forms must be submitted no later than 45 days after voyage cancellation notification...it also is stated refund requests must be submitted by 4/27/2020 for suspended sailings between 3/13/2020 - 4/11/2020.

Received the same generic Cancellation Request Confirmation email.  Will monitor NCL to make sure they understand my request is for a refund not FCC!

Plan to call NCL from time to time to verify that they have me listed for a credit card refund.  Hopefully by next week customer relations will have more updated info posted to our accounts.  I have questions concerning return of unused Cruise Next Certificates.

I'm sure my April 12th sailing will be cancelled, but I'm holding out for bonus future cruise credit and 20% off my next cruise. I don't understand why anyone would request a refund. It's free money!

Lmao! Money is money .... your future cruise credit is not cash but the equivalent of the TP people are scrambling for ... not worth more than the behinds it’s wiping.   FCC are Worthless at  this point ..... Get a clue.

Get a clue? Wow that's rude! I cruise 3x a year so future credit credit is as good as cash to me. If I can get 125% in FCC that will be used in 3-6 months that's a heck of a deal over taking a 100% refund back to my credit card.

I can’t do anything but laugh and shake my head at this comment. I don’t care if you cruise 50 times a year. They may not cruise for a year or ever again without filing bankruptcy in which you’d get nothing and lose everything . Your exactly the type of customer NCL wants right now ..... overly optimistic and easily parted from their money. I’m glad that you pay for promises that can’t be kept at this point .... awful and laughable at the same time.

Ahh you're one of the chicken littles on this board. Hoarding all the toilet paper. 🤣 Norwegian and the other cruise lines aren't going anywhere. Even if they were to reorganize their debts through bankruptcy proceedings it's highly unlikely they would alienate their loyal customers by not honoring future cruise credits. Take a look back at the airlines which have been through bankruptcy many times. As far as I can remember their customers always held onto their miles.

No, I’m just smarter than you with my cash. .... period. I’ll stick with 100% cash in hand which I got back . You can bank on future promises and an empty wallet if you want. Let them hold your money, lol.

And I'll enjoy the extra 25% ($1200 on my $4777 Haven Cabin) plus 20% off a future cruise when I sail later this year. Thanks for taking care of your customers Norwegian!

What's the reference in the refund email confirmations regarding the FCC mean? That we turned it down?

That part confused me as well. I thought the form was to request a refund not a FCC? I would like to know how much my refund will be, not how much the FCC will be. My cruise was one of the one's they cancelled, and there was a choice of a refund to original form of payment or 125% FCC.

Filled out refund request for my 3/28 sailing on Escape.  Got this back this afternoon.  Waiting for the other email they’re supposed to send, and of course, my refund.  Not exactly sure what the “future cruise credit” is referring to, though.

Thank you!
