Casino offer - free drinks offer? Questions!

Hello all and I hope everyone is safe and healthy....

Checked my offers from Carnival today for a late September cruise and one of the offers is for "free drinks anywhere on the ship". Does anyone know if that is for me, the one who gambles, or for both of us?  It is a great deal, if the ships are sailing then, with a good basic rate and OBC.  Plus, if we get free drinks for the both of us that turns out to be a really deal.  Just wondering if anyone has any input on this offer.

Thanks and hopefully we will all be cruising again soon

I haven't seen such an offer but they always put on my casino deals "free drinks for you and 1 other person while playing in the casino" so unless it says otherwise I would guess its just for you.

This is correct.  The offer would clearly state for you and one guest if it was for both of you

Not necessarily.  There are targeted offers with Free drinks anywhere onboard with casino offers

I believe only the Elite invite includes drinks ‘anywhere’ on the ship, plus one travel companion. Sorry, but it seems all other targeted offers are ‘drinks on us’ only while playing in the casino, which is still cool. I have another Elite cruise coming up in November of this year on Freedom. I typically pass up the Ultra invite, because IMHO the Elite offer is the  best of all invites.

Every Carnival Players Club offer has bulleted details.  Can you post it here so we can see it?  I currently have 6 CPC, plus the usual VIFPs.  I believe you may be looking at an Elite offer, which you should have received an email invite as well. See my other post with a link to CPC promos.

No one who gets an Elite invite is confused about it

Sounds like the same offer I got (and booked).  I don't think its Elite.... we're not that special... just a super casino offer.  At the bottom it says "Click here for full terms and details".  I did that and it states "Drinks benefit is for the eligible VIFP Club Member".... so not for both of you.  It does not, however, say anything about a maximum number of drinks.  I asked my PVP if there was a maximum and he didn't know.  I'm thinking there is probably a max of 15 per day but even that is worth it for us since I don't really drink.

My offer from this morning. I already have one booked 7/25 under the same offer that has since expired. Today I completed online check in for that cruise and it did not state anything about free drinks everywhere. The $400 OBC showed up in the documents.

Plan Now, Play Later: Get a Free Balcony Room + $1,000 in FunPlay® credits + Free Drinks On Us! everywhere on board the ship + 3rd & 4th guests cruise for $10 each

Book by May 15, 2020

  • Free Drinks on Us! everywhere. Terms apply
  • 3rd & 4th guests cruise for $10 each when you sail between June 27 and September 30, 2020
  • Offer available on sailings between June 27 and November 30, 2020
  • Rate Code FVB will be automatically applied at checkout

Is there anywhere on your documents that show the Rate Code and the FunPlay credits.  Thanks!

My DW received the free balcony offer with 500 fun play credits and free drinks everywhere.  The free drinks were only for her.  I also had a casino offer with free drinks on us while playing in the casino.  I called carnival to book so they would book me under my offer in order to get the free drinks on us.

A member of our party had this offer last month on Mardi Gras.  Yes, limit of 15 per day, and drinks must be ordered at least 5 minutes apart (or I guess I should say "rung into the system" at least 5 minutes apart).

The offer "Free drinks everywhere on the ship" is for the one who is booking the cruise.  However, If your spouse has the same offer, you can print that offer and go to the casino and show them that he/she has the same offer and they will honor it for them as well.

I was told this by the PVP from Carnival when I booked my NYE cruise.

I also booked with the free drinks in the casino. I did my on line check in and didn't see it printed on my check in document that I have that package. How do I know for sure if they will honor it?

By contacting the casino dept. Global casino services.

We were with another couple.  We checked in with the casino host (next to the cashier) and while checking their computer, we were told it was a go for all of us.  When we got our first drinks we had to sign the check and the total was zero.  My sister didn’t have her reading glasses and just signed.  Bad idea, her drink did not ring up free.  For some reason, it took a few days to zero-out her tab, but it was corrected.

Later in the cruise, no checks.  Much better.

This worked for my daughter and me.  We both had offers for free drinks for self only while playing.  We booked mine because more OBC, free balcony instead of free interior, + funchips.  She drank like a fish, all free.

There is always supposed to be a check to be signed.  Those drinks are reimbursed to the ship by the casino dept and you can add the gratuity
