sugcarol Posted April 19, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2020 If comprehensive insurance with cancel for any reason added, do you also have to add pre-existing waiver, or would that be included.

Hi Sugcarol, The pre-existing medical conditions waiver should be included if you met the cancel for any reason requirements. Which policy are you asking about? leaveitallbehind Posted April 26, 2020 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2020 (edited) Typically if you are covered by a policy that is defined as "cancel for any reason", that would include pre-existing conditions. CFAR overages are also typically among the most expensive policies for that reason, and as the coverage implies, pre-existing conditions would be part of "any reason" to cancel. Policies that offer CFAR (and pre-existing condition coverage) also typically must be issued within 15 days (varies by carrier) of the formal booking date of the cruise. (Defined as when a deposit is conveyed to secure the reservation). But the only certain way to know for sure would be to contact the carrier who issues the policy and have them confirm their coverages and any limitations.
