Cabin Assignment

We are booked on the Westerdam in March. We haven't received our cabin assignment yet but our confirmation says we are a category SZ. The deck plans show only 2 SZ cabins on the whole ship, on the Upper Veranda deck. They are cabins 6052 and 6117. They appear to be angled cabins. Does anyone have any information on the SZ cabins? Thanks

I was assigned a SZ. I finally was assiged 8053 which was a SS.

Thanks for the info. It says on my documents that the actual cabin will not be assigned until we are at the dock. Is that true? I've not sailed with HAL before and I'm used to at least knowing where my cabin will be.

My cousin booked a guarantee cabin for our cruise this Saturday on the Volendam. They were assigned their cabin 2 weeks ago. Stay tuned, you may get your cabin assignment sooner, but if not, it will definately be when you embark.

Keep checking your on-line immigration form. If by the time you leave you still don't see a cabin number, then when you get to the pier you will need to either talk to a HAL rep or to the head of the luggage handlers - one of them will have the manifest list listing all passengers and their cabin assignments.

I hate not knowing, but will have to wait, of course. I'll just keep checking my immigration form daily!
