I don't know how many cabins are in each class, but here is the general information that we received: CA Concierge Family Suites are now HI Haven CB Concierge Penthouse with Balcony are now HJ Haven CA Concierge Villa Suites were not upgraded Looking at deck plan, there are over 30 cabins now in the Haven. Which is good for us as I saw one of the cabins for a good price so put a deposit for November 21.
Rare Suite Heart Posted June 17, 2020 #52 Share Posted June 17, 2020 I am booked on the Joy, in the Haven, Feb 2021. This will be my first time on the Joy but my 5th Haven cruise. (Epic, Getaway, and Breakaway twice.) My last two cruises were as a single, as is my upcoming cruise. (No, there are no single cabins in the Haven; I pay double. I love the Haven, so I only cruise once a year 'cause I'm not a rich b_t__h. LOL) Can't wait to try the speedway, laser tag, and the Galaxy Pavilion!) I booked this over a year ago (usual for me) on one of the Latitudes sales and 30% off. I checked the prices today for my cabin class and . .wait for it . . . it would cost me $6,790 MORE and it wouldn't include airfare, which my booked cruise DOES include. I'll be curious to see how cruise prices will shake out when there's finally (?) a vaccine. Keep washing those hands! 🙃
dcipjr Posted June 17, 2020 #53 Share Posted June 17, 2020 We loved the Joy when we were on her in February (before things got crazy in the US). No thermal suite was no biggie, as we aren't spa folks. We loved the Observation Lounge—it was a great venue. Le Bistro is on the Waterfront on the Bliss, as opposed to tucked away inside on Deck 6 (as it is on the Escape), so you have the outdoor seating option. Since we had a toddler in tow, we likely would not have tried it if outdoor seating wasn't an option, and we had a wonderful dinner there. The Concierge Family Inside suite was amazing. I did miss the balcony a bit, but I got a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite for less than the price of a standard balcony cabin, with the Concierge perks thrown in. The Joy is scheduled to do the Bermuda run from NYC next year, and I hope conditions will have improved to the point where we'll be able to go on her. Hi, we are booked on the Joy for Feb 21 and we have one of the Concierge family inside suites. I think your one is just a suite. Best to contact NCL and ask

Breakfast and Lunch in La Cuccina with a much overworked Concierge in the restaurant to help you. Upgraded bathroom amenities. Nespresso coffee maker. Upgraded bed linens. Sparkling wine on embarkation (which you get if you have ever sailed on NCL before). If they have upgrade the class to a Suite, the amenities would be a lot better including butler service, daily treats, escorts off/on the ship. A slightly less overworked concierge. Bottom line, the perks are better if they are reclassifying it a Suite. https://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/cruise-accommodations/cruise-suites-and-penthouses You can scan through my live post on the following link to get an idea on the Concierge meals. tartantiara Posted June 19, 2020 #58 Share Posted June 19, 2020 Thank you BirdTravels, I hope we do get the suite benefits but I think I will phone NCL and clarify the situation . I believe there are ‘ suites’ on other NCL ships which are not real suites so don’t get the benefits I hope we are not classified as one of them Rosy
teachberry Posted June 21, 2020 #59 Share Posted June 21, 2020 We were on the Joy this last September for the Alaska cruise. We loved the ship, especially the huge hot tub in Spice H2O. We had a wonderful aft balcony and I recorded over 12,000 steps on our first sea day!!
