Canada extends cruise ship ban to October 31st.

For anyone with New England and the Maritimes cruises booked, Canada has extended it's cruise ship ban until November.

And that ban basically means, I think, that Canadian ports will not be open until the 2021 cruising season.

 

I support the Canadian government's decision to do so.  Some of the States, mine included, are choosing to "open" too soon.

Which cancels the Meraviglia sailings in September and early October. I was on two of them...  ☹️

We are booked on the NY-MIA Southern Caribbean Oct 26th, Im not even sure the Mera and Divina will head back to Europe at this point. We shall see. I do hope however that unlike NCL, if the ports are closed, please dont keep these intineraries available for purchase, pull the plug snd issue the refunds/FCCs.
