Booking next cruise when on board

Hi

We are looking at booking another cruise for late next year. 

Has anyone booked when they are on a ship, we have a couple already booked and was wondering what type of offers they may have so wether it's worth waiting till on board. 

Also would they match the online price as our travel agents will.

They normally match and always give onboard credit but that may be different now🤔

Online rate with a US travel agent is much cheaper than booking on board, even after OBC and all other perks

Because the future Cruise director and staff have to be paid a good salary and get free boarding and lodging.

 

Hence the price onboard cannot be cheaper than the online price, even after considering and adding all the perks, on board credit, et cetera
