NCL Joy Balcony deck 9

We had cabin 9326 and we loved it.  The joy has an elevator problem.  The forward bank of elevators are always overcrowded.  The aft elevators are not.  I’d get a cabin in the 9300-9340 or 9900-9940 range.  We also liked deck 9 for its convenience to the public floors

Looking for recommendations for a deck 9 balcony. Are some angled with more room?

want to avoid one with an open top

thank you in advance

Midship, you have the roof of the waterfront that partially obscures your downward view. Also, deck 9 is above public spaces, so avoid room over bars and clubs and galleys  (unless you enjoy music and noise to rock you to sleep).

And even though the lounge is enclosed, avoid a room over/around the one and only smoking lounge on the ship.
