highcorral Posted July 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2020 When I read the room details and watch videos, all of the balcony cabins have a mini-bar set up in the fridge. I always bring a 12 pack of Coke on board and fill the fridge. With the fridge already full (or maybe half full) with mini-bar stuff, could I just empty all the mini-bar contents to a drawer until after the cruise? Going on the Breeze 11/1/2020. ProgRockCruiser Posted July 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2020 Carnival no longer stocks the "minibar" fridges, so you have no concerns. BTW, the mini-fridges are not the coldest on the planet, but if there is an outer "cabinet" door they cool better if that is left ajar to allow air circulation.
highcorral Posted July 14, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted July 14, 2020 Good to know. Yeah, they are not the coldest, I agree.

Rare Banditswife Posted July 14, 2020 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2020 I am so happy they no longer stock that mini fridge. I agree that it isn't nearly as cold as a home refrigerator, but it does chill our water & soda. Just thought I'd mention: the shelves in the mini bar are adjustable, at least the ones I've had, so we can even get a larger sz bottle of water in there. ano Posted July 14, 2020 #6 Share Posted July 14, 2020 Who would ever think that a refrigerator in a sealed compartment won't cool good.
