Combining loyalty programs would certainly go a long ways.  A tiered approach, possibly.  Points earned on RCL apply to status on RCL; points earned on X would apply to X and RCL; points earned on Azamara would apply to Azxamara, X and RCL.  Of course, I can't imagine RCL IT could handle it.

Maybe they should outsource it like RoyalUp.

 

Fain/Bayley have eluded to a greater joining of the loyalty programs but they never gave specifics or a timeline.    

 

As near I can tell the Royal Group is unique with status recognition between sister lines.  I don't think my amazing "Gold" status on Carnival gets me anything on the sister lines within the CCL Corp. group.  Heck, all I get is a bottle of water on Carnival so it's not like it wouldn't be hard or costly for CCL to do it yet they haven't.

Bayley mentioned that during the 2018 President's cruise Q&A, but back tracked it during the 2019 Q&A.  Said they tried, but it was impossible and not worth the return.

 

So he gave us daiquiri's instead😉🍹
