bluemarble Posted September 1, 2020 #303 Share Posted September 1, 2020 It's been over 24 hours since I posted my latest photo, so here are some additional clues. Here's the original photo again for reference along with two more photos taken at that same location.
Host Hattie Posted September 1, 2020 Author #304 Share Posted September 1, 2020 @bluemarble thanks for the extra clues, I wasn't on the right continent until then. Now I'm going for Antigua.

Now I'm going for Antigua. That's correct. I think all three of those shots were taken at Shirley Heights on the island of Antigua. Another port call on our 2013 Christmas cruise. bluemarble Posted September 1, 2020 #306 Share Posted September 1, 2020 I hope it's not straying too far if I post a webcam shot rather than a photo I took myself. You know this webcam guy is going to have a few of those. Here's my contribution for today, a webcam capture from a port I've only seen through webcams. Not a lot to go on I know, but give it a try. Maybe someone will recognize it.

I'm not exactly sure how I stumbled across this article, but it was the key to identifying this port. https://www.cruiseeurope.com/news/queen-victoria-opens-the-season-at-klaksvik/ Looks like that was a port substitution for Torshavn, Faroe Islands which is what's shown in the itineraries I have for QV on the date quoted in the article (26 June 2013).

It was a very enjoyable overnight stay in port - we’d just come back from dining on beef estepada and Madeiran garlic bread in our favourite restaurant. The evening was warm and it was the perfect end to a perfect day being able to return to my favourite ship (QE) for a night cap and restful sleep in those wonderful beds. 😊
Rare Kynance Posted September 1, 2020 #313 Share Posted September 1, 2020 This one is a bit of a cheat because the only part of the ship showing, is the tiny glimpse of red rope.
