I did a poor job asking my question. In my scenario my DW got DOU while playing in the casino for her. Not DOU for her and a companion. My question was since I do not have a DOU for this sailing would I be allowed to purchase Cheers for me alone  vs the usual requirement that we both purchase ?

New monkey wrench into the works: 2 of us (myself and a companion) have DOU Everywhere. I've added someone to the room. Worst case scenario I would have to get Cheers for 3rd person. But everyone says you usually can't get it ahead of time. If you have to wait to do in once onboard, do you really have to? I mean, are they going to make you-- because I may not want to buy the package.

You both would need to purchase CHEERS but you can do it ahead of time for the discount.

They will not make you buy CHEERS for the third person.  The third person can purchase drinks individually and/or get Bubbles.  If you try to purchase CHEERS before your cruise, it will trigger CHEERS for all three.

Got it, Thanks for answering. We have 200.00 OBC I'll just pay per drink this trip. It's a 9 night cruise. Good chance I'll accumulate enough points for my own DOU card half way through..
