SonomaMist Posted September 1, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2020 Does anyone know why the deposits for Royal Caribbean vary so much from booking in the US website? For example, the USD will charge USD 450 for 15 or more days while Australia will charge AUD $400 for 14 or more days. AUD $400 equals USD $294 which is a significant difference. Are there any downsides to booking in the Australian website when you do not live in Australia? Thank you for your help.

Not sure if you can get price drops if you book through the Australian site.

I have had mixed success on price drops, although the most recent ones have worked out. To note, the Australian price includes auto gratuities bundled in to the cost. Be careful to travel with your invoices which note this, as I have had two instances where the grats have been added again onboard.
