suzk2275a Posted September 12, 2020 #26 Share Posted September 12, 2020 We are big fans of the Caribe Hilton. You will need to take an Uber or a taxi to the port, but the hotel is great.
vegas7df Posted September 12, 2020 #27 Share Posted September 12, 2020 We like the Caribe Hilton as well, have stayed there many times. Easy to get a cab or Uber to the port.
mafig Posted September 12, 2020 #28 Share Posted September 12, 2020 Does the Caribe Hilton still have a casino? (many casinos in PR have closed.)

Which dock does the ship leave from - she says there are two? The original dock or the Pan American terminal? Also, any recommendations for hotels for the night before the cruise? Thanks Pan AM - sometimes long lines just to get inside in sweltering heat - prepare yourself. Def not as nice/well oiled machine like Miami, Port E or Port Canav. Intercon, Sheraton, Ritz (my personal fav) Def get there a night early to walk around Old San Juan as there is vibrant nightlife and fantastic cuisine. I know, we like it to. Since our October cruises got canceled, hoping when we stay there in April, it is open
ATC cruiser Posted September 12, 2020 #31 Share Posted September 12, 2020 I have a cruise scheduled out of Puerto Rico in March, unless they remove the travel restrictions they have to get to the island that ship will be sailing fairly empty. That’s if it even sails at all..
