Puerto Rico Recommendations

We are big fans of the Caribe Hilton. You will need to take an Uber or a taxi to the port, but the hotel is great.

We like the Caribe Hilton as well, have stayed there many times.  Easy to get a cab or Uber to the port.

Does the Caribe Hilton still have a casino?  (many casinos in PR have closed.)

Pan AM - sometimes long lines just to get inside in sweltering heat - prepare yourself.  Def not as nice/well oiled machine like Miami, Port E or Port Canav.  
 

Intercon, Sheraton, Ritz (my personal fav)

 

Def get there a night early to walk around Old San Juan as there is vibrant nightlife and fantastic cuisine.

I have a cruise scheduled out of Puerto Rico in March, unless they remove the travel restrictions they have to get to the island that ship will be sailing fairly empty. That’s if it even sails at all..
