awfw Posted September 20, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2020 We are new to MSC and will sail on the Divina. We have Early Seating and wonder if they pre assign tables with others or if we can request a table for 2?
cruiseguyinorl Posted September 20, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2020 There is no way to pre-request any table configuration. You will have to speak with the Maitre 'd on embarkation day if you don't have the type of table you want. Just so you know, Divina's tables for two (at least pre-COVID) were not very desirable. Set very close to other tables and basically in the way of servers. Your best bet is to ask for a table for 4 with no other guests. Bret
Rare Stockjock Posted September 23, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2020 We've sailed on Divina and other MSC ships and never had difficulty getting a table for 2. Only had an issue once in terms of the seating time with a really snotty Maitre'd, but usually they're very helpful in attending to your requests. shipgeeks Posted September 23, 2020 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2020 If social distancing is still in effect when you sail, everyone will probably only be seated with their own cabinmates anyway.
gavenalex Posted September 26, 2020 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2020 Sports bar...for the chicken wings. I have sailed on the Divina for 33 days and have never once stepped foot in the MDR.

Bret Not true, your TA or MSC customer service can certainly request a table for two. I'm looking at our confirmation email and the request is clearly listed. Keep in mind, a request does not guarantee getting the table you want.
