Can't swim...

OK, I never really learned how to swim very well. I can not float on my back and in my town you had to "graduate" from the back float to move on to swimming. Plus, everytime I got water in my ears I got horrible ear infections and eventually ended up with holes in my ear drums.

In spite of the above, my Jr. High gym teacher made me jump off the edge of the 10 ft. and a paddle for my life to the other end, but it was not one of my favorite experiences and probably the reason I don't do swim realated activities. That experience coupled with not living by an large bodies of water, are reasons I am not a "swimmer". :)

Just some experiences that might make you think about why people don't know how to swim, or don't swim very well.;) By the way I am 50.

I can swim but hate water deeper than 5 feetl. I'm afraid of heights (Don't even try to get me on a ladder :o ) but I fly all the time.

We all have these little "quirks", and that keep life interesting. Book that cruise, swimmer or not!
