A nice cruise book for children

I just rediscovered a book I acquired many years ago:  "Welcome Aboard", by Barbara A. Huff.

It was published in 1987, so many elements are out of date, but I've always thought it was a lovely introduction to being on a ship.

Another great resource is on the Celebrity web site, look for Autism Social Story PDF.  You can print it out and go through the worksheets.  It gives the kids an idea of what to expect, embarkation day, stuff on board and what not.  I think its a great idea even if a child is not on the spectrum, probably best for kids K through 4th grade.
