Last Cruise before Drydock??

I've read tales on these boards regarding this . . . however, I see that this sailing can be had for a bargain. I saw a FV is still available, and also suite guarantees can be had.

If you always wanted to try a suite, I think this would be the time.:)

Even lousy service from a butler is better than no service at all!:D

We were on the last cruise before the Millennium drydock in the fall, and we noticed no difference in service at all. The only difference I noticed was that Notes was closed and being renovated into some other venue (never use it anyways, so it wasn't an issue).

We were also on the Infinity a couple of years ago before they were going into drydock - however, this was an unscheduled drydock, happening because of pod problems. We found, once again, that service was excellent as usual; it seems a lot of the staff were looking forward to the time off, although they would be training a few hours a day during the drydock.

I would not hesitate to book a cruise before a drydock.
