"Drinks on us while playing in the casino," I wouldn't consider the same as Cheers. You got a great deal but Cheers includes so much more. Some do get drinks "anywhere on the ship" in casino offers.

Ya, but DOU plus the OBC to pay when you are not in the casino creates a hybrid cheers package!

I'm new to Carnival (considering that my one and only Carnival cruise was about 40 years ago).  When exactly do you get these offers.

If you have a login to Carnival Website, you can see it under Manage > VIFP Club > View My Offers. Quick link here, just enter your VIFP number.

If you don't know your VIFP number, you can look it up at this link.

Yes i know, but its still better than an RU9 promo which is one i have on my offers page. Plus the only time i think i would get Cheers is if i was sailing with the GF and more for the convenience of it over the value.  The reply was to the comment about 500 OBC which is first time ive ever had that much offered to me outside of the 600 OBC for rebooking.  Usually my offers are only 25 or 50 dollars OBC lol.

Yeah, they're really throwing the OBC around to drum up bookings during the shutdown. I jumped on a casino offer that was basically a free cabin with $200 deposit/OBC. It was enough to suck me in totally unaware of the  CSO and all the hiccups with trying to restart. I just cancelled with no penalty, moved from Oct. to a B2B in June 2022 and got $500 OBC for each leg of the B2B. Not to mention drinks while playing/casino.

BTW: will the border be open for me to go fishing the end of July?

So far the plan is to lift the 3 day mandatory Govt Hotel stay and the 14 day mandatory Quaruntine in mid July for FULLY VACCINATED Canadians only at this point.  This is ok by me as its the first step that needed to happen for me to be able to leave the Country on Vacation again and not have to take another vacation when i got back just to Quaruntine.  Feeling better more and more about my November cruise booking.

I'm thinking the same thing, they sure are offering so many casino offers at next to nothing. Maybe there isnt that big of a demand to resume as folks say.

Someone said as long as they are sending out cruises profitably ... but they arent. Tons of free obc and drink packages to get people to book.

I posted that cheers was only $35 more, but the sale now includes up to $50 obc. I'd have to click thru but probably a 7 day cruise would get the whole $50. .. so it actually costs 35 plus whatever obc. My base price hasnt changed.

On the 5 day obc is only 12.50 lol. Idk because I'm solo and short cruise but lol. A whole 12.50. Where do I sign. No more cheers offers, its obc or nothing. And so much!!  But cheers I did give up a previous 50 obc... on vista. I got 0 on breeze, but could made it a b2b.

It ends at 6am on debarkation day. If you can find a bar open at that time, you can still have a drink; I think my son was able to find one on one of our cruises, but I'm not sure if it was a bar in the casino area, or the buffet area?
