rnr4thatsme Posted February 25, 2021 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2021 I can’t seem to see any cruises from Vancouver for 2022. Has carnival stopped using that as a departure port? The only 7 day Alaskan cruise i see is the Freedom from Seattle.
kdr69 Posted February 25, 2021 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2021 Apparently you missed this announcement? (Updated 6:24 p.m. EST) -- Transport Canada extended its sweeping ban on the cruise industry Thursday by continuing its order prohibiting cruise vessels in all Canadian waters until February 28, 2022.The orders, which were originally issued last spring and extended several times since, were announced by Minister of Transport Omar Alghabra. The orders prohibit any cruise vessel carrying more than 100 or more people from operating in Canadian waters, effectively canceling the 2021 Alaska and Canada New England seasons for all but small, U.S.-flagged vessels.
