GOALIEMOM30 Posted February 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2006 I was wondering if you had the choice between a room on the 7th floor in the middle with balcony Mariner or the 10th in the very back of the ship which would be better. Do you feel alot of motion in the back?
cb at sea Posted February 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Alot of folks love the aft portion of the ship-- I assume you are talking about the very back overlooking the wake? Usually the balconies are a bit larger there. But yes--you may, and I stress "may" , feel more motion if the seas are more than a few feet. The center of the ship is the most stable. But if the seas are rough, you will feel some motion, no matter where you are. You are, after all, floating on the ocean!!! We've never been bothered by seasickness, so I guess it's up to you and your past history!
