Penthouse Suite (PH)

We have sailed several times with Seabourn and always had a Veranda suite. We are looking at a future cruise with a Penthouse suite. looking at the pictures the suite looks very similar to a Veranda suite but on a higher deck, is that the only difference please?

Penthouse suites are larger than Veranda suites. They are

about 450 square feet.  They have a veranda of about 100

square feet. They are very nice.

The penthouse suite on the Ovation and Encore is about

450 square feet. On the Odyssey, Quest and Sojurn they

are about 436 square feet.  Still very nice.

The Penthouse suites have a lot more room than the Veranda suites including a completely separate bedroom (with a door), a larger closet accessible from both the closet and hallway, a separate room for the toilet and one sink (great if you have guests up to your suite or if one of you likes to take long baths), two televisions (helpful if on slightly different sleep schedules!), and a nice dining set up.

Ir's all about the real estate.  The Penthouse is noticeably larger than the Verandah with room for dining (as Jenni wrote) and room to entertain guests.  We have friends who entertained a party of 10 in their Penthouse, something you could not easily do in a Verandah.

A party of 10would be very cozy in a Penthouse Cabin!   At least in the Spa Penthouse you have a much larger outdoor deck and you can actually use it while the ships underway (no wind).

It was a cozy party.  Cozy but fun.

We have been allocated suite 921 looks great to me having never been in a Penthouse suite, hopefully this cruise will go ahead?
