MCC retired Posted March 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2021 Anyone know what will become of the OBC attached to a FCD on a canceled sailing , if FCD becomes a FCC ?
Rare tacticalbanjo Posted March 16, 2021 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2021 It was a while ago but we were advised that it disappears into nothingness so we insisted that the FCD was given back to us for a future booking.

Indeed. Our TA advised us not take the enhanced credit offered for the cancelled voyage on which we used the FCD for that reason. As I mentioned in another thread, our FCD was to expire the day after our October voyage was due to depart. Cunard agreed to extend the validity of this deposit and we re-booked the equivalent voyage for the following year.
MCC retired Posted March 16, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted March 16, 2021 From answers so far ,sounds like it may be better to rebook using that FCD ($600) with its $300 OBC rather than accept a 25% ($150) additional FCC on that FCD , to lock it up? This is what we were told would happen regarding our cancellation (July this year). I phoned Cunard (wait time about a half-hour) and asked them to reinstate the FCD rather than taking a refund or FCC. The Cunard rep agreed that was by far the better choice and was able to do so while I was on the phone with her.
