The Family Suites on both the DAWN and the STAR are located on deck 12 forward

of the pool and Buffet.

Two suites - one on the port side and one on the starboard across from the library are

handicap outfitted with less furniture and open bathroom facility.

Family Suites on the DAWN & the STAR  *DO NOT*  have balconies !

There are 24 suites forward on deck 12 - 10 are Penthouse 10 are Family and 2 HC.

There are 24 suites forward on deck 12 - 4 are Penthouse 18 are Family and 2 HC

On both of these ships there are 4 Owners Suites at the front of the ship over the Bridge

As for which cabin is bigger - it is maybe just inches - centimeters and not worth getting

a tape measure out to find the difference.

LOCATION and NOISE would be bigger factors -

Closer to the Pool more noise and the running track overhead on deck 13.

Smoke wafting in from the port side pool smoking area.

4 Meeting Rooms forward of the Library

Forward of the elevators are 18 Inside Cabins the quietest location on the ship.

Where the elevators are - adjacent stairways go up or down to all decks.

Going up to deck 13 to find some of the hidden spots for sunning viewing hot tub

and other activity.

Yes, Dawn now has Family Suites with or without Balcony.  Without balcony is category SP, they are 409 sq. ft. in suite.   With balcony are category SB, suites are 486 - 553 sq. ft. which includes the balcony.  Balcony is listed as 58 - 110 sq. ft.    This info is from my big box travel agency website.  The Best Price one which usually gives extra perks & OBC.    Of coarse the SB is more expensive than the SP.
