about those Signature Savings Events

Mrs Banjo and I are looking at booking on the Venture for the North Cape in March of 2022.  The Seabourn website says that the cruise is part of the Signature Savings event and list Veranda Suite upgrades and 50% reduced deposit.  When I went to book the cruise I saw neither, so I called to ask "what's going on"?  The agent claimed the veranda upgrade was from a guarantee to a V1, (that is hardly and upgrade in MHO and no upgrade if you buy a V2 or 3, etc). And about that deposit, it looked like a full regular deposit to me, but again I was told that this IS 50% off.  What gives?  Seems very disingenuous, or am I just being too fussy, asking about their advertising statements.
