Was that the Dec. 15-22, '19 crossing? There was an evacuation by helicopter on that voyage also, and I remember the snow on the deck the next morning! If that's the one you are referring to, I didn't realize that was his last crossing.

 

At any rate, we wish Captain Wells all the best for a pleasant retirement.

No, it was January 2020 the first leg of the ill fated world cruise.  He was supposed to rejoin the ship for the last legs in Fremantle but he was denied boarding just like all the passengers and then the world cruise ended.
