We are booked on a 4 night Virtuosa UK cruise and noticed the fun pass for sale in the planner. It is £72 and says it is worth 140 euro onboard. Just wondered approx what it would cost to use these things onboard.

Thanks

Seen it my planner too. It states “Fun Pass Value: 140 Euro or Dollars depending on the currency on board”.

This is odd as I emailed MSC earlier in the week to ask which currency was going to be used on board the Virtuosa during her UK sailings. Hubby enjoys a flutter in the casino when we’re cruising so I wanted to make sure we had the correct currency with us. This is the response I received “The currency used on board including the casino is GBP”.

I would assume therefore that all extras are to be paid for in sterling on board.

I assumed they meant 140 pounds. As they don't normally use pounds I imagine the website has not been changed although I've noticed they mention pounds when talking about the drink package limit.

Whatever it is, it sounds a lot for £72, not sure if we would use it enough (or perhaps the onboard prices are very expensive).

I don’t think we would use it, F1 simulators are not really our thing! 😆

We love F1, never tried a simulator. I'm sure we'd use the bowling too.

I watched a YouTube video of that area on Grandiosa the other day and it looked great, got me thinking.

Oh we love F1 too, never miss a race on tv, just can’t imagine trying to squeeze myself into a simulator car at my age! 😂

Yes, the whole ship looks amazing, can’t wait to get on board (we’re on the 24th May and 3rd July sailings from Southampton), everything will be all shiny and brand new lol.

On the Seaview in 2019, did bowling for about 30 euro. It was a few euro for shoe hire from memory. It was a good game, quite a nice atmosphere in that games area.
