Rare SuitesRbest Posted May 12, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2021 Announced yesterday that international travel will slowly start MID 2022. What does this do for local cruising??? (Australia/New Zealand and East Coast to name a few)
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted May 12, 2021 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2021 It depends. Local cruising could restart late this year without the international border being open IF exemptions were given for the ships' crews, who would probably arrive with the ship and would need to be vaccinated, pre-quarantined before joining the ship, and tested on arrival here. However since most of the governments are biased against cruise ships it's unlikely to happen.
