Guaranteed specialty dinning reservations

 Share

Recommended Posts

Certain higher level suites on Regent ships offer the amenity of a guaranteed reservation each night in the specialty restaurant of your choice.

How does this work?  Are you able to obtain a reservation at the time and restaurant that you want?  Are you required to share a table?  How far in advance must reservations be made?

Thanks for the help.  Can't wait to get back on board!

I didn’t think you could book ahead on line, only being able to book correct amount at each restaurant.  However just let your Butler know each day, they will take care of it.  We’ve never had a problem-after awhile of eating out a few nights we enjoy a lite meal on our deck.

I believe that shuguley was asking about the dining amenity that comes with booking one of the Grand, Master or Regent Suites.  The amenity listed for those suites includes, “Guaranteed Reservation Each Night in Specialty Restaurant of Your Choice”.

Although we haven’t had the opportunity to experience one of those suites yet, it’s our understanding that you just tell your butler where you would like to dine that night and they take care of the rest.  Of course, you may book several nights ahead, or you can decide that day where you would like to dine.

We would assume that you can ask for a table for two or you can ask to share a table to make new friends.  While the Regent Suite has its own private dining room between Prime 7 and Chartreuse, we know of one Regent Suite couple who preferred to eat in the Prime 7 dining room and had a table at the back there most nights.

Maybe someone who has stayed in one of those suites can provide more detail.

I was on the Navigator April and May 2019, as part of the Social and Singles group we often went to Prime 7 with just a phone call from a staff member just before dinner.  I would guess that here were nights that were full, but most likely there will be tables open most nights.

Yes - they will fit you in if you want to eat there - apologies.

Eno-Bob you are correct.  We have stayed in the master suite and have booked day of dining in a specialty restaurant.  The only time it has been a problem is in Pacific Rim.  They would like to get at least a days notice for dining there.  It is possible to eat at a specialty restaurant daily.
