newbie needs help

Hi everyone,

My family is considering a RCCL cruise this summer. We have been on 2 other cruises with Carnival in the last 2 years. Does anyone have a list of the ships in order of how old they are? I am spoiled by new ships and want something fairly new. Any help would be great. Thanks.

RCI website has this info...go to royalcaribbean.com and click under 'find a ship' there you can check out all the info about any of the ships...

Thanks Parrothead. Actually I knew I could do that but rather than search thru each ship's info I was hoping someone would have a list of the ships in order of age. I'm really just looking for any that are say within 5-6 years old. Anyone?

Please understand that all of Royal Caribbean's ships are maintained well, and that the ships will surely meet your expectations. Most ships if not all contain the outdoor rock wall, casino, various lounges and night clubs, day spa and workout center. The Freedom Family of ships, which is obviously new, will be the largest ships owned by Royal Caribbean to date. The next largest family is the Voyager and then the Radiance Family. Other smaller families of ships can again be found on www.rccl.com.

 

A good ship family to start out with would be the Voyager Family of ships, they offer lots to do, and include the Royal Promenade (which isn't available on smaller ships) which is like a large mall in the middle of the ship, it's very cool. Which ever ship you choose, I hope you have a wonderful vacation, and welcome to Royal Caribbean International!
