Jewel cruises cancelled, but could it really start with Panama roundtrip on Jan. 20/2020?

Today's announcement included Jewel cruises cancelled to including Jan. 9/2020, the San Diego to Panama that I was booked on.  We booked b2b, so the 2nd leg is Jan. 20/2020 Panama roundtrip to Caribbean islands.  After that Jewel doesn't sail back to San Diego, but toward New York with many of the same ports as the Jan. 20 roundtrip to Caribbean islands.  It's disappointing because I had thought by Jan. next year, that part of cruising could happen.

 

I'm thinking to cancel the 2nd leg of our original b2b cruise,  and maybe book a b2b in March of Panama roundtrip then Panama to San Diego (at higher price).  I know this is still speculating, but could the Jewel really starts its sailing from Panama on Jan. 20/2022, or could that also be cancelled?
