tjm0701 Posted June 1, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2021 Any Intel out there on the Nautica return to service and her refurbishment update? ( Oceania “Next”). Very curious that all other ships, except the Regatta also, have had a return to service notice.

I wish the refurbishment be earlier...

tjm0701 Posted June 1, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted June 1, 2021 Thanks. Let’s hope. We are on the August 25th 2022 (10) day cruise starting in Malta.
Rare pinotlover Posted June 1, 2021 #5 Share Posted June 1, 2021 We are booked for 20 days in November. Final payment has been moved to September. We patiently await the final decision. All similar itinerary cruises on Oceania are waitlisted through mid 2023, so we can’t move our reservations to another similar cruise.

Ships that are scheduled to embark in South Africa or Australia/New Zealand (or elsewhere with major Covid restrictions/concerns) have little if any chance of cruising until second quarter 2022. And thus do you think it will give time to upgrade the Nautica before resuming sailing or the upgrade will take place after June 2023?

Very possible that Nautica could finally see the NEXT transformation at some point during the rest of 2021. But, who knows? O has many other “fish to fry” this year. the mice Posted June 2, 2021 #10 Share Posted June 2, 2021 We are booked on Nautica's 28 day Singapore-Tokyo cruise starting early March. Based on vax rates and restrictions in countries to be visited, unless things change quite a lot, this cruise could be cancelled or have major itinerary changes. Agree with Flatbush that 2nd Q 2022 seems more likely for these 2 ships. Recent article mentioned that just staffing up the O ships already scheduled to return to service is a very big endeavor. So, not holding my breathe on this one.
