Tap dance classes!

Two of the last three Cunard cruises we did had a tap dance class for passengers.  I didn't have tap shoes with me, but several people did.  (How did they know??)

Any thoughts about whether Cunard will do this again?  Might it be more common on certain itineraries?

On QM2’s maiden crossing there was a “beginners’ tap class”. Perhaps as many as 30 of the 80-90 people that turned up had their own tap shoes with them. What “beginner” takes their shoes with them on holiday on the off-chance that they might find a class?

I wonder what Security makes of taps that show up on x-rays of luggage?

On a QM2 cruise they had a passenger talent show and a man had signed up to do a " Dance " but was not allowed to do this as he wanted to tap dance on the lovely wooden dance floor which was forbidden ..
