Puerto Plata Dominican on Oasis...where to they port?

I see this new stop on Oasis next year, does anyone know where RCCL ports? do they share the Carnival port? is this a "nice" stop??? never been

Probably in La Romana.  I stopped there once on a Costa cruise (owned by Carnival)  Very nice.

The itinerary says Puerta Plata so possibly the new port?

Royal is building a new port there, however it is behind schedule. We are on the April 10, 2022 which was supposed to go there, they just changed our stop to from Puerta Plata to Nassau because the port is not done an apparently won't be done by April.
