WeDoneWon Posted July 13, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2021 Hey all, going to Montego Bay on the Carnival Vista in September. I really would like to do the Blue Hole, it looks amazing, but as a very large guy, it makes me nervous. I've seen videos on youtube and it seems it could be a bit dicey. Does anyone has any advice? stephanie13rown Posted August 25, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Curious about this myself! I'd love to hear from folks who've been there, done that!
Mike981 Posted August 27, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2021 I'm not going, but as a big guy in solidarity I'll bump it. Hope you get your answer.
Rare k9hndler Posted September 8, 2021 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2021 I am 6'2 and 330 lbs and I did the Blue Hole with my kids. YES, there is a LOT of hiking up wet rocks, but the guide you hire for tips (every group gets one) will hold your hand and help you up if needed. Lots of the jumps are 6 feet or less, go feet first and you will be fine. The zip line and swing are beyond MOST big folks ability, but the lagoon has a swimming/shopping spot as you wait for others to clear it. The last jump is 20 plus feet. DO NOT do this one as a big guy. I DID do it and had back issues for days. We LOVEED the Blue Hole, my kids FAVORITE place. Hope this helps.
