Aft VA or side SS???? Opinions?

I can't decide whether to book an "aft verandah room" with a huge uncovered balcony or a "sy verandah suite" with a smaller covered balcony on the Westerdam. They are close in price if I get a guarantee sy. The sy guarantee is about $100 more pp....$200. Take into account that I and my 24 year old daughter love a large uncovered deck...people overlooking us is not a problem. I have never stayed in either...any help please?

thanks..

Two ladies in a cabin together will love the extra room in the cabin and bathroom. You will have loads of storage space. My mother and I were in an SS suite together and it was perfect. The balcony was plenty large for 2 people.
