gcorgain Posted July 30, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2021 How and when do you typically find out what hotel you are assigned for your pre cruise hotel? Does Regent typically use one hotel per sailing, or do they divide people up? thanks, Greg

They do change once in a while though. If you look at your booked cruise, at one point your hotel will show up in your itinerary. You need to log in and look at your itinerary, not the cruise itinerary.

GOARMY Posted July 30, 2021 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2021 (edited) As Gcto noted-- It depends. Regent often uses two hotels at embarkation port. Examples: Miami and Sydney. This is often based on number of folks going at Concierge Level; and at other "named Suite" levels and desiring to arrive early to get over jet lag. Takes the stress level down a notch if confronted with a last-minute alteration in airline schedules; weather delays, and such. Often, your TA will know--from previous and hopefully First-hand by being aboard experiences with Regent--which hotels have been utilized on previous itineraries. Examples: Miami, Tokyo, and Stockholm. Our experiences in this regard have been all over the map. Sometimes, Regent documents, e.g. "Show my Itinerary" and Day's Events readouts for a particular cruise will specifically list the hotel. This shows up as a Pre-Cruise entry before Day 1--actual departure date. These have shown up as early as a year before our actual cruise. Sometimes, not. But, our TA has been able to fill in that knowledge gap before the hotel designation actually shows up on Regent. GOARMY! Edited July 30, 2021 by GOARMY Clarify comment.
