Canceled Cruise and Celebrity Air

If a cruise gets canceled by Celebrity and you did the air arrangements through Celebrity, do you get a refund for both the cruise and airfare?

I got a full refund of my Air with Singapore Airline ticket but took about 3 months.   I had a choice of either a full refund or FCC for 125% of cruise fare.    This was on the original shut down of cruises

yes, definitely.  That is one of the major advantages of booking air with cruise through Celebrity, especially now.

Hi!  My cancellation by Celebrity was at the very beginning of the cruise shutdown.  The cruise was 125% FCC and the airfare was 100% back to my credit card which took 5 months and constant calls.

That being said - everything took 3-5 refunds to get a refund including my May 2020 Alaska Sailing. Not sure this is something exclusive to Flights by Celebrity. Their whole operation and refunds department was totally overwhelmed plus they probably had to figure out where to get the money to process all the refunds.

I forgot to mention the taxes & port fees went back to the credit card at a different time from everything else.

 

Yes, I think they were totally overwhelmed.  I knew (well hoped) everything would be refunded/credited accordingly but it was a task keeping track of everything and just wanted it taken care of.  

 

I look back and when my beginning of May 2020 cruise was cancelled, I was looking at end of May cruises as possible cruises to book.   😆
