Switched to Princess Cay

Our original itinerary was for Grand Turk.  Not to happy with Princess Cay.  What can we do there?  We are not beach people.  I just may stay on the ship.  We were looking forward to a snorkeling excursion on Grand Turk.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I really don't want to pay $55 to go snorkeling for 90 minutes, probably less since you have to sail out to a site.

Basically what I've read is that it is more catered to as a beach break. I've always avoided Princess Cay and Half Moon Cay when booking itineraries.

That is correct, I have been there many times and it is a nice beach break but that is about it.

Princess Cays is a private island.

You don't need Bubble tours.

Unvaccinated cruisers are allowed off at private islands without limitations.

 

Grand Turk is currently closed because Turks and Caicos have restrictions due to Covid.

 

Having your cruise switch to Princess Cays allows more passengers to get off  and enjoy excursions.

 

My December cruise goes to Princess Cays/Grank Turk/Amber Cove. I'm happy that at least I can get off at one port since I'm considered unvaccinated.
