Our cruise ends in Istanbul. How far is the airport from the cruise port? If our flight is at 6:55AM, how early would Viking want to take us to the airport?

Airport is about 45 minutes or less if the traffic is not bad  from  where the ships dock near the bridge into old town area. We stayed in Istanbul after our cruise back 2011 on Celebrity. We got a car service that picked us up around 3:30 am. for a early morning flight. The airport is big, modern but very busy back then.

The international airport in Istanbul moved in 2019.  It is now on the far side of the Bosporus, away from Istanbul.  So it is a much longer commute into Istanbul, and on our trip in 2019 it took us about 3 hours to get to our hotel (with bad traffic).
