ILgirl Posted August 12, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2021 When the Silhouette was revolutionized in 2020, 4 inside cabins were added on Deck 9 midship next to the elevators. The cabins are listed as being 102 square feet, which is approximately half the size of a normal inside cabin. The low fare reflects the size. Has anyone experienced this cabin type? Thanks! paulajj Posted August 12, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I don’t have experience in this cabin but I was curious and found this video. I hope someone can help 🙂
ILgirl Posted August 12, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Thx so much! I did book one for an 11 night cruise in March. It looks pretty tight so I will just have to decide if the cheap cruise fare is enough to offset the tiny cabin!

I’m all about cheap so I would totally do this one 😉

Rare Oceansaway17 Posted August 12, 2021 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Oh I did not know this. I was on the Silhouette Fall of 2019 to Canaries. but I will say across from or near elevators is not a good bargain. Truly nice solos are better on NCL. But RCI and X are putting some solo balconies on that are nice. I just would not be excited for what they did on Silhouette. Kind of shoving a solo in where they can in high traffic area
cnkgirl Posted August 12, 2021 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I have one of these cabins for an 11 my cruise in February with my friend who booked one also we are going together but unfortunately cannot share a cabin because she snores too much LOL. I could not find much information on them anywhere. I know they are about half the size of a regular cabin but I’ve heard 103 ft.² and I’ve heard 131 ft.² so I’m not sure which one is correct. I sure hope someone post on here soon what they are like after they have stayed in one.
