Are condiments only available upon request?

People were saying how there is not salt or pepper on the tables.
Then someone mentioned they bring their own Pepper mill.

Do you have to ask for this in the MDR and most places like the buffet? what about ketchup and mustard and what not?
Should I bring a cheap set for my room?

Hi,

in YC for every meal salt and pepper is provided without request. But because of Covid it is not by mill but rather the tiny packed portions. If you order burger you can get, on request, a small tray with small pots of ketchup, mustard and sauce tatare. This was on Seaview on my current cruise.

I don‘t know what will be provided in MDR and buffet.

cheers

When on the Virtuosa in July they would do it all for you and would not leave the condiments with the passenger in the MDR.

They would ask you if you wanted salt and pepper and grind/shake it for you until you said stop, similarly they would bring ketchup, HP, tabasco & Horseradish sauces and pour/spoon them directly on your plate then took them away.

Just got off Seashore. No condiments on the tables in main dining room or buffet. Ketchup, mustard etc dispensed into little cups you can take from the serving counter in the buffet.  Don’t know what the situation is in YC

Just tell them what you want on it.... They put it on for you; or on the side. Whatever you need. No need to bring your own.
