Ship Excursions only in SXM?

I just read on another thread where St Martin is ship excursions only. Is this true? We sail there on November 23 and have a private excursion booked.

We leave next Saturday and are able to book private excursions IF vaccinated.  Children must be on a ship supplied tour.  We are on RC Allure OTS.

That is what I thought and have read. Someone posted on a thread with extremely poor information.

Celebrity has recently changed their SXM protocol. From their web site:

On your own tours are permitted in St. Croix , St. Thomas and St. Maarten. Excursions provided by Celebrity Cruises are required in Nassau and Tortola.

We just got home Sunday from our Allure cruise.  Vaccinated passengers can tour on their own, unvaccinated can only do a ships tour.  We took a taxi to Orient Beach and had a lovely beach day.
