Insurance for Grand Voyage 2022

We are booked on the Grand Voyage 2022. We have traveled on Crystal over 30 times and have always insured our trips, not thru Crystal, but with outside agencies, e.g. Travelex, TravelGuard etc. For this trip, the insurance is ridiculously expensive- about 30% of the cruise price. Insurance in the past has been about 13% of the cruise price. Does anyone use an insurance company that is more reasonable?

Have you tried using travel insurance websites that provides several quotes on various policies and etc.??

 

Also, I Am sure you know that "insured" costs, travelers age, and length of sailing among other things play into the costs?

we are researching insurance including special flight insurance to return to the USA for medical treatment if necessary.  we want to be sure that COVID is covered even though we all are expected to be fully vaccinated.  this is an expensive decision and requires lots of thought.
