Cruise 'missing' on MSC account - do I need to be worried?

For about a week, my cruise on the Meraviglia on December 5th has been gone from my online account. I still have the countdown showing at the top, but there is nothing else I can see about it. I can still see it on the App.

Being Canadian, I'm always checking to make sure it wasn't cancelled since they have done that lately. Should I be worried or is it just another website glitch?

Did you try logging in with your reservation number instead of your MSC number?  If yes, and still not showing, are you on the roll call?  See if others are having the same problem or talking about it being cancelled?  Worst case, if it's only you, I'd give them or your TA a call.

Our Canadian friend along with others were booted off Meraviglia 10/30/21 and when asked was told by the TA something to do with not being able to get COVID insurance. I’d call and check but things might change after 11/1/21.

That's what I've been worried about - when I contacted MSC they said it was business as usual for my cruise. However based on what I'm reading here I may not have been given correct info.

I wish I could know sooner than later to know if I should look into another cruise line without the insurance restriction.

Do you live in Canada? Could that be why? Are there any restrictions still in place about Canadians traveling to the US?

I know there was but I’m not up on the latest Covid travel guidelines between Canada and the US at the moment

Just tried to book my free casino cruise with MSC in June for my friend and I.  I asked if it was ok for her to travel with me since she is Canadian and knowing she was just canceled from another cruise.  I was told she cannot travel and that they were turning Canadians away at the pier.  I was flabbergasted that they would do this without consideration of costs for these cruisers.  But then again, it’s MSC. Honestly if I wasn’t talking directly to MSC, I would not have believed it.  Good luck to you.

Just got off the phone with MSC - they are showing no cancellations and say I should be good to go. Also said I would be notified if there were any changes....based on what I'm reading I won't hold my breath on that one.

I've had 3 cancelations on the last 2 cruises with MSC.

NO INFORMATION NOTHING!!!!

And there was no reason for cancelation....internal failure, they said on the phone...

I noticed the cancellation because we got on info, our excursions are cancelled....

So, the takeaway here is don't book on the same sailing as Markus?

So our chosen cabin is now G0000 according to our TA.  TA says that probably means our cabin is being blocked off and we are now in guarantee status.  Very frustrating as we chose that cabin based on location and what was above and below us.  She said we could be upgraded or not but no way to know.  Now I guess it is a crap shoot.

As I've had similar...I'm happy to be within DE and booked by DE law.

I've had the SD3 MSC cancelled and moved 5 pax in one Fantastica Suite.

One call from my lawyer later we had 2 YCP, they where cancelled as well, but this is a different story

LOL, it seems you keep your lawyer on speed dial.

Kind of crazy...I live in the US, a lawsuit happy country, and don't have a lawyer. You life in Germany and have mentioned several times having your lawyer sue people for you.

While the U.S. has the most layers per capita, it comes in at #5 (or thereabouts) on lists of the most litigious countries. Germany and Sweden are #1 and #2.

Did not know that, but the empirical evidence from Markus says you are right 🙂

My cruise has reappeared!! I'll still be keeping a close eye on it though

Have you made final payment yet?
If not you may want to wait until the Canadian restrictions are lifted and then book. I mean why let them hold your $$?
