Future Cruise Credit Expiry

I have about £900 in future cruise credits from a Xmas 2020 cruise on Oceana that P&O cancelled. I thought they would run out at the end of 2021, not sure what would happen then, a refund of the original deposit perhaps. Looking at the P&O email I had today it is valid for bookings up to 2023, is that booked before the end of 2021 or up to the cruise date.

 

Do I have past the end of 2021 to still book a cruise?

In a similar vein, after having our October cruise cancelled because they needed some accessible quarantine cabins, we asked our TA  to request a refund. 

 Now I realise that an FCC is automatic in these cases, but after a couple of reminder e-mails that we had FCCs to spend, I decided earlier this week to do a refund request on line just in case, then today I get another entreaty to use our FCCs on some very special cruises they have which would be just our street. Am I cynical or could there be a connection.
