No ASL interpreter for our cruise

Three of us are deaf.  My daughter booked Royal Caribbean of Anthem of the Seas next year May 

 

My daughter applied ASL Interpreter for our cruise.  She got reply that Royal Caribbean won’t provides us ASL interpreter because we are cruising in UK 

 

What  wrong with BSL Interpreters?    Why we are not get any interpreters 🤔

Hi Tess,

That is unfortunate that you aren’t getting ASL or other accommodations from RCCL!  

As a captioner for the deaf and HOH communities, I have reached out to cruise lines and travel agencies offering my services, but to no avail.

Very little accommodation is offered for the deaf or hard of hearing community.   The masks also make it very difficult to leap read.
