Casino Rate Upgrades?

Good Morning,

So we booked an extended Balcony on Floor 8 of the Magic for the Nov. 9 sailing. There are Suites available so I called in to see if we could upgrade and I would pay the price difference and they actually said no?  Said I would have to cancel and rebook meaning loose what I already paid.  So does that mean there is no way to upgrade to the suite or Aft?

I think that is correct.  You can usually do this at the time of booking, if there are upgraded rooms available.  But after the promotion has closed, I have not been able to upgrade.

You would need to contact the Casino Dept.  If you are a high enough ranked guest, they will assist you.

I was able to upgrade from a regular balcony to a premium balcony for the fare difference of $20. Both fares were casino rate. However, I lost the drinks on us while playing when I changed cabins. The drinks on us didn't matter to me. This was also after final payment.

Do you have a PVP (Personal Vacation Planner)? If so, call them, they can probably work something out for you without you having to cancel and rebook. That just doesn't sound right!

I did have one, but I booked this at like 2am in the middle of the night without him.  Doubt he could help me now.  Oh well I am just hoping that Casino rooms can be included in the upgrade fairy calls, they have a lot of suites available, and we are 2 people in a 4 person room - which I am surprised I got it in the first place as I looked up for 4 people and there are only a couple available and none in our level. If not it is a very good room just would be cool to try a suite out.
