Royal UP - "Expired" Status??

I put in several Royal UP bids for the November 15 sailing on the Independence of the Seas. The status of two of my bids says "expired." What exactly does this mean? Could there be no available cabins in the particular category or, was my bid too far out from my sailing date? Also, I'm unable to modify any of my bids.
