sweep2907 Posted November 2, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2021 First time sailing with Celebrity and we have flights booked from UK to Rome. Do passengers need to make their own way to the ship or do celebrity have coaches?
britishcruisers2 Posted November 2, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2021 I believe Celebrity put on coaches to meet passengers on flights organised by them. We used Romeinlimo last time we sailed from Civitavecchia after flying in from UK.
emmas gran Posted November 2, 2021 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2021 We were going to cruise on Reflection Sept 2021 but it was cancelled. However there was a charge for the transfer to the ship
Rare chemmo Posted November 2, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2021 We only did it once. We were charged for coaches, it came up as an add on option after we chose flights. It was an easy option as for once we were flying and cruising the same day. It seemed a safer way given the circumstances. It was a few years ago so the system may have changed. Our flight (Manchester) was on time. A coach was ready and waiting then we sat there for almost an hour waiting for a Gatwick flight to arrive…We would use again if flying same day of cruise only. Whilst you can on board ship book coaches back to airports I think you need to pre book coaches to the ship…Suggest you contact Celebrity to confirm. UKWLDCruise Posted November 2, 2021 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2021 For UK passengers with their flights they sometimes lay on taxi's rather than coaches, happened to me in 2019.
